The existence of crime, unnecessary violence, and evil!

Evil and crime worsen the lives of good and ordinary people solely for their own gain.

Many good people work hard for their money, care for their families, and strive to make their small contributions to society, while wickedness and crime do the exact opposite. That is unjust! This sets the stage for our mission of combatting violence and crime.

RVFK MISSION

Our mission is to combat violence and crime. We provide evidence-based information on real-life violence, drawing from our analysis of real altercations (+ background), recent studies, and statistics. This educational content is designed to help good people to recognize dangers and respond effectively. Our goal is to offer free, actionable knowledge that defenders can implement as needed.

RVFK PHILOSOPHY

Reality is the owner of truth!

It encompasses the entirety of what is real or existent within a system, distinguishing it from mere imagination. Relying on factual data from reality enhances the likelihood of arriving at practical and effective solutions. Therefore, acknowledging the reality of violence must always precede any approach to self-defense and self-protection.

My name is Michael von Pickartz, and I produce the content for RVFK. With extensive training in martial arts since youth and a background in psychology and sports, I’ve dedicated my career to addressing violence and crime. I’ve worked in mental health and served in three military units, including as an instructor and soldier. Currently, I run a resilience center, counseling and instructing evidence-based self-defense.

Ans as the saying goes, “To fight evil, you have to understand the dark.”
