In this video, I’ll show you how difficult it can be to deploy a weapon in action/under pressure. An officer gets chased by a knife wielded attacker (see background story) as he tries to deploy his weapon.
This video is about buying time and get your weapon in action; from semi-deployed to fully deployed.
The ability to buy time to get your firearm out, get one round in the chamber and disengage the safety-pal can be a matter of life and death.
Some points:
» Running while adjusting your route/direction
» Running and making photo’s (visuals chaser/attacker)
» Adjusting your firearm belt while running
» Chamber rounds while running
» Disengage the safety-pal while running
» Running + fast rotation and handling your weapon without falling and then aim + shoot.
» Running while you know danger is right behind you (Bear Syndrome).
» Etcetera.
A small addition to this subject – When you need to deploy your weapon but:
» It’s closed concealed.
» You do not carry it and you need to get it.
