Knife attacks are dangerous even if the attack movement is somehow restrained. Attackers can attack you just by pushing/slicing the knife without having the leverage to create lots of velocity. This is also the message of this video. The knife attacker shows us how he stabbed a man to dead through a narrow passage without many angles/difficult movements and maximum backswing. Look how this clerk is trapped in this terrible situation, even the safety barrier couldn't save him. The clerk just came into reach and the attacker needed a little space to finish the job.
