A police officer makes the choice to escalate the situation which led to shot being fired.
The main subject of the video = dynamic gun disarming in real-life.
I show you a possibility to disarm a gun from two points of view (both parties involved), objective and separate from the parties intent of being involved. This too displays the dynamics of a possible gun disarming in real-life and how important it is to use “movement principles” instead of rusty and too technically tools. The category disarming here = the “leverage disarming”. There are more, which I will discuss in further content.
See also the line of fire and the position of the bystanders…and think about a possible alternative approach of the both cops.

Newly released footage shows how Oklahoma police shot and killed a man who behaved uncontrollably on a bus and tried to grab an officer’s gun.
Miguel Chavez-Angles, 42, died in Oklahoma City last month and the police department released video of the confrontation that led to his shooting Monday.
Chavez-Angles had been taken to the hospital just hours before after he was seen inside a church banging his head on the floor and saying he was upset about his potential divorce, authorities said.
He called his wife in the afternoon before getting into a car with two women and telling them to drive, KFOR reported.
Police received reports of a kidnapping right around that time.
Chavez-Angles eventually got out of the car and locked himself into an auto parts store, police said, before getting on a city bus.
Surveillance footage shows Chavez-Angles pressing the bus driver to keep driving and offering him money.
Chavez-Angles seems agitated as he continues his conversation with the bus driver, telling him not to open the door.
He then climbs on top of a luggage rack and gets hold of a fire extinguisher. The driver opens the door and tells all the other passengers to get off the bus.
The vehicle appears to be empty except for Chavez-Angles and the driver when two officers arrive.
One of them, identified as Heather Lane, steps inside with her gun in her hand. Chavez-Angles can be seen dropping the fire extinguisher and trying to grab Lane’s weapon.
A shot seems to go off before a second officer, identified as Daniel Carli, intervenes. The footage as published by KFOR freezes before the shots go off but several of them can be heard.
Chavez-Angles died on the bus, police said. Carli and Lane remain on restricted duty while authorities investigate the shooting. The Oklahoma County District Attorney will decide whether it was justified.
