Video: 2-year-old boy gets shot after grandfather is hit by gunmen in Ibatiba.
IBATIBA (ES) – A two-year-old child, three women, and a man, 53, were unharmed after a duo on a motorbike shot their family in a street in the Boa Esperança neighborhood of Ibatiba (ES), in this Thursday (9/12).
According to police, the family was talking in front of the target’s residence, the boy’s grandfather, who was playing on the floor, when at 17.36 two armed men stop in front of the victims, one of them gets off the bike and shoots the man several times.
A video surveillance camera shows the moment when the child is in the middle of the shots. Grandma, one of the women who was also on the sidewalk, tries to save her grandson and falls. The other two women run.
The target of the snipers fired back at them using a 765 caliber pistol. With it, the PM also found two loaders and 26 ammunition of the same caliber. To police, the man said he was warned by friends that one of the shooters would receive $ 8,000 to kill him. The victim also reported that she recognized the suspects but declined to talk about the motivation.
The man, who was barely executed, was sent to the Ibatiba Police Station. The Civil Police will investigate the crime.
