*Short video!
See one of the Hardest Hitters in boxing today is unified light heavyweight champion Kovalev. The 29-year-old Russian is a fierce and ruthless competitor. Look at his body in movement behind the punch.
A few formulas and laws from physics are sufficient to explain punching movements. So we can not only learn “how” we need to move by imitating but also “why”.
What is kinetic energy?
Kinetic energy is the energy an object has because of its motion.
If we want to accelerate an object, then we must apply a force. Applying a force requires us to do work. After work has been done, energy has been transferred to the object, and the object will be moving with a new constant speed. The energy transferred is known as kinetic energy, and it depends on the mass and speed achieved.
Some other points:
* The longer the distance, the higher the energy.
* The greater the mass, the greater the kinetic and potential energy.
* The greater the speed (v), the greater the kinetic energy / The greater the speed change, the greater the force.
* The greater the inertia, the greater the rotational energy
* The greater the angular velocity, the greater the rotational energy.
* The smaller the impact time, the greater the force.
* The smaller the area with which we touch the object, the greater the pressure.
* The greater the impact force, the greater the pressure.
Different formulas used to explain the above points.
